Loughman was engaged as the principal contractor for the significant regeneration of Russell Park in Noel Park, London Borough of Haringey. This flagship project, a key initiative for Noel Park Big Local and Haringey Council, focused on creating enhanced play facilities and improving green spaces for the community.
The core objective was to deliver a refurbished junior play area, incorporating innovative architectural designs co-created with community feedback.
Loughman’s scope of works included the installation of new play equipment, which was designed to encourage active and natural play, with inclusive items to broaden the play experience for all children. The refurbishment also integrated new planting schemes that prioritised biodiversity within the play area, enhancing the park’s ecological value. Our team commenced works in July 2024, ensuring careful site management and close coordination with the council and community stakeholders to minimise disruption. The project aimed to significantly improve recreational opportunities for local families, providing a vibrant and safe space for outdoor play and social interaction within one of Haringey’s much-loved parks.
